Brushy Hill Wedding 6.17.17

The adventure begins for another lovely couple! Brushy Hill Cottage is absolutely beautiful and features a grand view of Lexington, which was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed local beer from Devils Backbone, wine from Rockbridge Vineyard, and signature cocktails chosen by the bride and groom! We also served a variety of┬áhors d’oeuvres which included wasabi-ginger deviled eggs, watermelon gazpacho shooters, and house-smoked trout on homemade potato chips with fresh dill and horseradish chantilly.

The reception was unique in that the bride wanted everyone to start dancing and enjoying the live band as soon as possible. It was decided that we forego a sit down dinner and, instead, have stations set up with a variety of tasty options for everyone to enjoy at their own convenience throughout the evening. What a neat idea!

We featured a salad station, shrimp and grit station, and taco station with fish and fried chicken tacos being prepared right before guests’ eyes!

Congratulations to this sweet couple from our team at Southern Inn Catering!
